Symphony Park works with trusted healthcare partners who can bring support directly into your home here, so you can keep the lifestyle you love even if your needs change down the road.
Care That Comes to You
Symphony Park is an independent living community. We do not operate assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing on site.
Instead of moving a resident to a higher level of care, residents can choose to bring care to them. Through established partnerships with:

Residents can access personal care, therapy, nursing support, and primary healthcare, all while continuing to enjoy the comfort and lifestyle of Symphony Park.
That means you keep your home, your neighbors, your amenities, and your daily routine, while adding support around you as needed.
Support That Can Grow With You
Aging rarely happens all at once. Needs often change slowly, and sometimes they change quickly after an illness or surgery. Our approach is built in layers, so residents only add the support they actually need, when they need it.
Personal Care Assistance: Help with bathing, dressing, medication reminders, walking, light housekeeping, and companionship through Home Careolina
Rehabilitation and Therapy: Physical, occupational, and speech therapy through BAYADA, often provided right in the resident's apartment after surgery, illness, or a hospital stay
Geriatric Care Manager: Medication management, chronic condition support, and help coordinating doctors and specialists
Onsite Primary Care: A medical provider through Atrium Health One Health available right at Symphony Park for everyday health needs and ongoing condition management
How This Compares to a CCRC
Many families compare independent living to a Continuing Care Retirement Community, or CCRC. A CCRC usually requires a large upfront buy-in fee, and residents typically move through set levels of care as their needs change.
Symphony Park takes a different approach. There is no large buy-in fee required to access the healthcare partnerships described above, and residents are not required to follow a fixed path from one level of care to the next. Support is added individually, based on what each resident actually needs.
This gives residents and their families more control over both their care and their finances.
